The reason I really don't like friendship poems here are because they usually feel awkward and don't really give the readers an explaination or not a detailed one. I know readers can fill in the gaps and that poetry has no set rules, which makes it fun!, but maybe explain why this "friend" is in this darkness or exactly what is the light you see. It's a pretty good poem, don't get me wrong, I'm just throwing out suggestions. I did think the repetition was nice and not too over done and that if this is true then you're trying to lift someone's spirits.

"You may think you've lost to darkness
But I can see the light in you
You may feel like giving up
But I know you can make it through" thats definately my favorite part of the poem. your a good writer keep up the good work :) i can see your point of veiw in this poem definately.

I love this poem. I can relate to it rather well, adn I thought the flow and such was perfect. I loved the second Stanza the most though. =)

THis poem was so sweet, and even inspirational. It shows the reader that yes YOU can get through it because there is someone there to help you. I think it would have been even more effecctive if you elaborated a bit on the story behind it. Tell a bit about the friends porblems and how they can get through them.
Still it is a very touching poem, and has the potenetial to be very amazing!!! Good luck ;)

This poem had a sadness to it however it was also very inspirational.
I can really relate as I have friends who are going through the same thing and I would do anything to be there for them in their time of need.
I like how you repeated that one stanza as it was not over done.
I also like the flow and the rhymes did not sound forced. Great write!!
