Looking into the rear view mirror
My eyes ask 'why?'
She's asleep cuddled with me here thinking...
Everything's so right
But little does she know
Whats on my mind
With one bright flash, its you she'll find
Am I really back to this again?

Its you I'm feeling here
Even with her lips inches away
It's you i hear when she says it
the three words you would say
How else can I put this?...I know one way...
I miss you everyday

Through everyones eyes we look perfect,
'made for eachother' they say
But because of you my love for her goes astray
I try to lose myself in her
but all I find is you
This static feeling won't turn off
And oh...what if she knew...

When will this spell be broken?
This weight lifted? My heart set free?
As she rests on my chest

    You have to stay with your gf young man! you love her and ... well, i know how it goes
    you fantasize about someone else who you are infatuated with... everything your loved one says seems like the other one is saying it to you... in you mind... it's crazy
    i love it though... it's so true, and many people can relate.

    Hey Steven,
    My names Paige, firstly, i LOVED this poem! It really touched me! And i know exactly how your feeling! I went through the exact same thing actually not to long ago! Its not a very good feeling! And i can tell you i absolutely hated feeling that pain! I dont exactly know your situation! But i do know that all you need to do is to stay strong! No-one can control their heart! And tell it who they can/cant love! You obviously love your girlfriend! Because if you didnt you wouldnt be with her! But its also clear that you still love this other girl! Im not telling you what to do or anything! Because in the end its all up to you to follow your heart! But i think that you really need to sit alone and think about who you really want to be with, and how she will affect your life! You can either be with this other girl and basically start a new life! Or you can stay with your girlfriend and continue with the life your in now! Personally, i think you should stay with your girlfriend! Because obviously you love her! Because if you didnt! You wouldnt be with her! You'd be with the other girl, or someone else!
    But like i said before! Its not up to me to tell you what to do and who to choose!
    Because it IS all up to you! And im sure you will make the right choise! Which ever choise it is!
