The Most Important Thing I Ever Lost

by Matt   May 17, 2006

The most important thing I ever lost
Was something that I never should have found
I spent so much time thinking about cost
And I never bothered to look around

I probably deserved my loss of my
One true chance of being happiest, but
My eyes did start to well up to cry and
I had the feeling that I'd lost the lot.

So I cried, enough for one hundred streams,
After reaching a painful all time low
Harder than finding the girl of your dreams
Is being forced to turn and watch her go.
