Another one for my mom.... lol

you always seem to get mad at me
for such stupid little stuff
like forgetting to take out the trash
or talking on the phone too much

everything i choose to do
always seems to be wrong
and you always make me feel
like this is not where i belong

and even when you know
things in life are getting tough
you tell me that i'm not the only one
who's life is always rough

you make me feel so stupid
for letting my feelings show
you say you know what it's like to be a teen
but i really don't think you know

because so many things have changed
since you were my age
but when i tell you the way i feel
you just become enraged

it's like everything i'm supposed to be
is everything i lack
and instead of being there for me,
you have started to turn your back

but i am begging you to listen
to what i have to say
please mom, don't abandon me;
i need help along the way
