Exceeding Expectations

Pulsing through my veins
Adrenaline rushes through
Making me exceed the limits
There's nothing I can't do

Images blur around me
Wind whips my hair
Body slowing down
I accept the dare

Pushing myself harder
Making myself go faster
Just a little farther
Telling myself to pass her

Victory so close
Almost in my grasp
Breaking the ribbon
As the finish line I pass

    I feel the determination and will to suceed in this poem . The reader can run with their imagination in this piece , which makes it so interesting .
