His Only Desire

by RadianceInReverse   May 17, 2006

Infinitesimal Wings of Fire
Blade of Blood
Rings of Flaming Desire

His Body Hit the Floor
with A Slow Painful Roar
Wistfully He Wanted to Live

As the fiery black blood flowed
out his tattered pours
he wept silent red tears
just hoping he'd be given
one last chance to live

The dark moon set
there were no more chances to be given
knowing his fate, he began walking
on this inevitable deadly course
as his lifeless body took on a horrible form
covered in bloody roses and sullied flesh
he began molding with the darkness

Infinitesimal Wings of Desire
Blade of Blood
Flaming Rings of Fire
death took away his only desire,
To Live

"bloody roses" I love that thought I might have to use it, and I think this poem protrayed death well and the feeling of it for most people
