Revengence

by Miranda   May 17, 2006

Coldness and lonliness
fills the air,
the rose cries for help
but no one will care.
a puddle of solitare
comes to avenge,
the life in the markings
is now soon to end.
Precluding continues
to stand in the way,
the moonlight gives morrow
of upcoming day.
The languishing sorrow
comes so dauntlessly,
the ebony tears
flow on with in me.
The match is stricken,
the motley is true,
but soon to conclude
is the revengence in you

I didn't understand quite a few of those words (im a pretty simple person lol) but the general meanings are pretty clear. And personally i quite liked the rhymes. yet another 5/5 lol.

This is very complex even though at first glance it seems simple. While I don't understand all of this I liked the honesty you write with, didn't really enjoy the rhyming scheme however your rhymes are not overused and sound different to many I've read, which I liked. Nice poem.
