Brutal Murder

by Miranda   May 17, 2006

A brutal murder
Was the case,
Deep confusion
On her face.
Blood was gushing
From her neck,
The room around her
Was a wreck.
Carpet covered
Now in red,
No doubt in mind
That she was dead.
Fingerprints left
On the wall,
Smeared in crimson
From her fall.
Rain was falling
Cold and hard,
Soon she’d be
In the graveyard.
They rose the body
From the floor,
Took the pictures,
Closed the door.
Who had done
This terrible deed?
None but herself
Left to concede.

Heya. nice poem. I likes the structure, the short lines kinda make it feel like it's over quickly, which links in with the death. good one. 5/5...again!
