Driven by the candle light
She quietly searched for ink,
She took out some white parchment
And then began to think.
She tried to write it down
But the words just fell apart,
She knew not what to say to him
So she could barely start.
Finally the words, they came
She dipped her pen in ink,
All the words were flowing down
That she could ever think.
The letter grew so swiftly
And quickly she was done,
Her heart was now the only place
That all this could come from.
She them picked up the letter
To read a final time,
The words, they all said everything
That was ever in her mind.
"Dear Love," it stated sweetly
"I wake scared in the night,
but then I think of you, my dear
it takes away my fright.
You fill my head completely
Now and all the time,
I'm the luckiest person
Now that you are mine.
I look up at the stars
And think of only you,
And the moon that I am staring at
You've seen it so much too.
I never even realized
I could love someone so much,
The only thing I want
Is to feel your love, your touch.
I write this letter fondly
And plainly you can see,
I'll love you 'til forever
Sincerely, with love, Me."
She closed and sealed the letter
And stuck it in a drawer,
For the person she had wrote about
She had not met yet before.
