The angel

An angel girl with an empty face
A broken heart that the world forgot
Nobody knows what she is holding back
People wonder but they don\'t ask

It\'s hard to see the pain behind her mask
Someone hears a cry in the middle of the night
But they just turn off the lights
When morning comes it might be too late

She imagines flying to a place where she is loved
Somewhere where there is no pain and suffering
But she is just shoved further away
She feels so unloved

She prays to god and asks him why?
She wonders if she is going to die
But she does not hear or see his reply
Please god let me have one more try

I don\'t want to be a sacrifice!
