The Used

The Used

Flashes of neon in the midnight sky
The darkened shadows fusing into the night
People dying on the streets with the cold, cold ground

Women screaming in fear of what men are implying
No one thinks about the hungry children crying
And don't forget the homeless, what did they do to you?

They're the used, the betrayed, the innocent
They're the victims of "one-time" crimes
The murdered of killing sprees, the toll of sincere crime

The used, what did they do to you
Found at 2 a.m. in the morning
Their bodies filthy with the smell of fake cocaine

The used, where are they going?
They're innocent when they have no where else to go

The used, the fated victims, the eye of human crime
And no one cares, they are the hated, and they never seem to cry

Flashes of neon in the midnight sky
The darkened shadows fusing into the night
People dying on the streets with the cold, cold ground
