She can see the silence...

by Jenna Balkin   May 18, 2006

Grey brick walls,
and a dirty ground...
In the corner by herself,
shh, not a sound...

But not all is silent,
faint cries from behind...
Only she can hear them,
from the back of her mind...

Louder it cries,
and drives her insane...
Being all alone,
she is crying again...

What can she do,
to get recognition?
This wasn't her fault,
or her decision...

Tears of blood,
run down her cheek...
She keeps her life quiet,
yet wanting to speak...

A fresh wound she disturbs,
to look for it within...
The demon that possessed her,
living under her skin...
