Shattered hearts and broken promises
as i lay in my bed , with the blankets pulled over
my face
so you cant see these tears i remember all the
promises you made to me
i remember the day you said forever , but was it all
a lie?
when you saw him you forgot all about me, its like
i was never there at all.
i remember your cold painful words that day i
answered the phone
i threw down the reciever and let my tears fall to
the floor
and as the blood ran down my arm i remebered the
day you said forever,
and i let the metal slice deeper through my flesh
and as i lay there dying,
i muttered out my last word " forever isnt long
enough"
