Bittersweet lonely days

by vanessa rose   May 18, 2006

The end of something so bittersweet, a lifetime lived with peopleâ??s lies and tears cried promises that went broken.
Stories told by a child walking alone in the darkness.
Mumbling there fears and frustrations.
Tears cried from the eyes of a little girl that needs attention
Needing love from her family that they failed to provide.
Words uttered by a mother that needs help.
Silence from the father that is missing.
Days gone by with memories of loneliness.
The echo of a voice screaming out for help.
Asking for the strength to make it through the pain.
The â??smileâ?? from the child that lost everything.
Bittersweet days, days to learn from mistakes made and hardships.
Days that have passed but not forgotten.
Days with an ending, that tends to break people.
Days that are filled with anger and pain.
Also days that are filled with life lessons and gain.
Tragedies for some but a gain of new knowledge for others.
That echo, that â??smileâ??, that fear and hurt.
Bittersweet
You live and you learn
Take it as another lesson learned.
