Oh goodness this made me head off and read my earlier poems writing much about my experiences with this very same situation your writing about Chels...its hard on both the user and I know just as much and if nto more on those around them that love and care. Its hard to watch, its not that hard when your doing it to yourself because your numb, the reason your putting this substance whatever your drug of choice is is to feel nothing so you dont hear the cries or see the tears you make your loved friends and family cry. i must have been so horrible growing up and abusing substances I know I was ...your poem took me back there...*tear*

I have had this experience, i am only 17, but i when i was 13 i started to smoke drugs and drink alot, got nothing good out off it. then when i was 16, after being clean for 10 months i went back to it all!! horrible feeling
