I thought we were best friends, but now look at us,
I have no one to talk to, or to sit with on the bus.
You said no matter what happened, you'd always be there,
You said you loved me, but you really didn't care.

You said you'd never hurt me, and you'd tell me everything,
We even got the "friends forever" friendship rings.
But now it's too late, you went and crossed the line,
Don't care what you do with your ring, but I threw away mine.

Thanks for always being there, until I needed you most,
