The Great Escape (Acrostic)

by Italian Stallion   May 19, 2006

The Great Escape, I'm
Holding in my hands
Embedded the images

Going through my mind
Round and round, looking for an
Embracing soul
A moment like
That gives me a heart-attack

Embraced I become
So I hold on tight
Counting the hours
Another day late
Pointing to the clock
Entitled to my thoughts

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. Pretty straight forward, no rhyme scheme or syllable count.
