THE INTERFACE

by Hajira Riaz   May 19, 2006

I'm not known to love,
even then I've heard myself
speaking of love as,

"Love is as the interface
that connects eyes with the soul
& after that association,
your eyes become the lingo
of what your soul feels,

when your soul dances
on the waves of joy blown by love,
your eyes blink as the shine of stars.,
when your soul gets tired
after the long journey of grief bestowed by love,
your eyes trigger the tears of dimness"

Thus, I get known & say to my self,
"Love is the interface through which
the gloom in my eyes & bloom on my lips
have firmly been allied
with the sensations in my soul"
