Lost

Another ring on my finger, because yet again you've made a mistake.
You buy me these gifts,
whisper sweets words, when my heart is about to break.

But sorry just doesn't cut it this time, you should have known better.
I wont even spare you a tear, Not even whilst writing this letter.

You went behind my back and took away my confidence and pride.
You told me you loved me, but once again you've lied

I thought you were my soulmate, you were meant to love me forever,
Unconditional love, by my side we would stick together.

You didnt think i was strong enough to fight back at you,
but i was at breaking point, all the things you've put me through.

I can now sleep in peace, not wondering where you are,
Not crying all the time, or wishing upon a star.

You have lost me forever and i will not be coming back,
Now you can cry the tears, because you have driven right off track.
