Brother

by Chris Grogan   May 19, 2006

Forged by fire,
Tempered by trust,
Ill fight by your side,
Even after the death of us.

Born to separate families,
Drawn by Fate,
Similarities abound,
Destiny couldnt wait.

Weve done this before,
In lives past,
No turning back now,
The characters are cast.

Why do you think,
Our like and dislikes are the same,
Our hearts and equally wild,
Yet equally tame.

We fear, we panic, we blush,
We run, we fight, we die,
We ride, we yell, we joke,
We laugh, we sit, we cry.

Yet through it all, we remain,
True to ourselves, as to the other,
You are more than my best friend,
You are my brother.
