First Kiss

by Chris Grogan   May 19, 2006

A night so magical,
A move so radical.
A kiss to be remembered,
A night to be treasured.
You held me so tight,
I held you back with all my might.
Where will we go from here?
Shall I have any reason to fear?
I suppose that we’ll just have to see,
If you are going to ask me to set you free.
Will you come back to me? Are we through?
Will I see you again? Is it to be true?
What are you expecting from me?
What kind of plans for us do you foresee?
I am so curious, I have to know,
What kind of results do you want me to show?
Feelings for anyone else no longer linger,
But I am scared that I am too eager.
I don’t want to be alone anymore,
But neither do I want to pick up my heart from the floor.
Please be patient through these trying times.
That we may soar together through the skies.
