Tears are decieving

The tears rolled down as she watched him leave,
her heart was broken, betrayed and deceived.

Him leaving left her with pain at hand,
him leaving made the pain to expand.

He said that he still loved her but not the same,
that they were separate or soon became.

So then he left her with no return,
without her love and him to yearn.

She waited awhile to let it fade,
but she felt like a one man masquerade.

The weeks soon passed with such great pain,
that the pieces left broken still remained.

But as time passed with such great length,
she finally had the courage of strength.

She noticed the love she once had fade away,
the fake smiles she put on were just for display.

She did feel hurt but what could she do?
When her love turned out to be untrue.

So the pain soon healed with the waiting days,
and the hurt dissolved in the heart ached phase.

Now she is beautiful just like before.
With much more love for those to explore.

So if you see her tears in her eyes,
it won't hurt her when you say goodbye.
