She's Was Gone....

by Jen Schroedle   May 20, 2006

She stood at his door
Not knowing what to say
Did he ever know how
He made her feel today
She stared in silence
Didn't make a sound
Then he came out
With no one around
She didn't speak
It was too hard to do
She handed him a note
Then left at two
She drove away
To a familiar place
And he read the note
And put it away with haste
He jumped in his truck
Hoping it's not too late
And realized he had hurt her
And she now hates
She sat on the bridge
And blew him one last kiss
Then is steady silence
She didn't want to miss
When he showed up
He saw he on the bridge
He ran up to her and saw
On her wrists the bleeding ridge
He grabbed her head
And she let out a sigh
It was her last
And he started to cry
He should have known
Right from the start
The pain he had caused
Would tear them apart
And whenever he sees the bridge
When he drives downtown
Is a sad rememberance
Of why she's not around.
