There is always one girl in life
That is truly deeply in love
Taken by the singing birds
And up the heavens above
Her name is Amanda
Shes just like every normal girl
Except her heart is pounding with love
Which sometimes makes her stomach curl
She wants to tell Dave she loves him
But hes not your everyday open minded boy
For his feelings are trapped within his rib cage
Broken and useless like a wrecked old toy.
Maybe its because of his awful past
For his girlfriend is now an ex
When people ask if he wants to talk about it
He stays calm and firmly objects
But even though he does not speak aloud
How much he cares for her so great
Remembering the moments brings him happiness
But in another brings him such hate
But yet thereâ??s still Amanda
And her he does admire
Shes always been there beside him
By her he is strongly inspired
But its only been a few months since the split
And in his head he is confused
He wants to tell Amanda the truth
But his heart is greatly bruised
Amanda made the first move
The first step to a relationship
But even in the greatest romance
Theres always that tiny chip
It soon ended with broken hearts
Inside Amanda and Dave felt pain
But they still remained tight friends
It was as if the were held safely in chains
But Amanda still misses him
She knows its not the same
The love they once shared that was parted
She knows might not eexistagain
Amanda Told me a story, and asked me to write about it, Amanda is herself
