The night call

by Princess Demonica   May 20, 2006

The day.
An enemy.
The night.
A friend

Blackness consumes me totally.
Calling me to the hunt.
Like a dog after a fox.
Sleeping for eternity.

Soul lay dormant in side.
Heart ceases to beat.
Mind calls for knowledge
Of the ages.

My long dead life
holds no clue.
To suffering up most
Caused by my past.

Sweet decay
Oh how i have missed thee.
Lay in a cold crypt
Even in my heart

This poem ties in with how i feel so much lately, that it is quite scary.... if you don't mind my asking, what inspired you to write this?
