You taught me to wipe my tears
You have given me great wings
You have taught me many things
How to forgive I was taught
You showed me what Ive got
You taught me how to truely love
That I too can come far above
You showed me its fine to let go
That it is alright not to know
What it is I really lack
That not everything comes back
You have showed me the good and bad
You gave me what I never had
You taught me how to have some fun
You taught nothing is ever done
Yet you have given the greatest thing of all
