Peace is what we want,

But never quite succeed.

Peace among the people,
Peace among the land,
Peace between the countries,
Oh wouldn't peace be grand?

Peace is what we whisper,
Peace is what we shout,
Peace is what we fight for,
It's what it's all about.

Peace is what we look for,
Peace is what we plea,
Peace is what we dream about,
Oh give the peace to me.

Peace is what the world wants,
Peace among the land,
Peace is what I'd love to see,
