A scared little girl

by Vampire Bunny   May 20, 2006

A little girl
she lives in fear
of the return
of her mothers tears

She's asleep
but she always hears
the hits the slaps
and all the beer

He comes home late
and leaves her early
they never have time
to share their dearly

At school she ponders
if he is sober
and wil her heart
sink even lower

That night he come
drunk as ever
not knowing that
he's scarred her forever

Simple rhyming but it worked well. Well done. 5 *
