Poor Little Susie

Poor Dear Susie
She was just 12
and yet she already
lived through h--l

Oh, poor Susie
she tried to fight back
but she could tell she was losing

She cried every night
just to feel alive
she had to get away
from her dad
or else no longer survive

While her dad beat her mom
she tried to leave her home
so by the time her beating came
shed be long gone

She tried to escape
but that was not her fate
for her dad saw her
she didnt think shed see the next day

she woke up in the morning
so glad that she was alive
the first thing she heard was a lie

I dont know what happened nurse
she came home like this..
We prayed that her last ride
wouldnt be in a hears

She tried to get up
he dad acted like he cared
and whisper in her ear
Dont tell anyone what you saw
or else Ill beat you raw

she held in her tears
until the nurse told him
she needed rest

She started to bawl
asking her self
what did I do wrong?!
The nurse pats her shoulder
saying its okay. Just tell me how long.

Susie knew what she was talking about
How in the world did you find out?

When the nurse started to say somethin
the door swung open
You leave my girl alone! Cmon Susie
were never coming here again

As Days passed
Susie feared for her life
Her dad beat her everyday
she even had to get a cast

As Susie neared the end
she got more and more fed up
when the new beatings began
little by little she started to fight back

Dear little Susie
such an innocent girl
had made one mistake
that had ended her days

Her Father yelled at her
she knew where this was going
But no longer would she keep this pattern flowing

She yelled at him
What did I do to deserve this?

He was not having her mouth
so he pushed her on the couch

he got his belt
oh no Susie wasnt going to die
without a fight

She tripped him
he fell to the floor
he became furious
he yelled at her you stupid wh--e
She ran out the door

No neighbors would believe
such a good man
would behave
in such way

He went to the garage
grabbed a hammer
as soon as he got it
he said to himself
No No.. Ill just hit her.

She ran as fast as she could
but he was soon behind her
with a piece of wood

She fell to the ground
at the site of it
saying to herself
Im going to die tonight

He beat her until the cops came
he had 15 minutes of fame
as they questioned
why would he kill such an innocent child
all he could say
was: it was all worth while..
