Embers Relight

by HighPerfection   May 20, 2006

I step into the outside
Only to be kicked and shoved
And retreating to my corner
I get stares and imitations
Like knives thrown at my heart
The searing pain
Blinds me from the world
Only seeing Death
I maybe injured but I am not dead
I will patch that hole heart
The knife so clearly pierced so long ago
Soon I began to heal
Then I'm Blindfolded
By the light of happiness
I open my eyes to the world
A gun
Is staring me in the face.

Great peice, very deep with some good use of description and a clear yet almost abstracyt content.

Oh...so you're saying how you are treated in the real world...and then you healed from it, but when you opened your eyes again, it's still the same...or even worse?

I'll give you a 5 :D And please check out some of my stuff :)
