My "Secret" Life Part 1

by Avrii Monrielle   May 21, 2006

At school you see a girl
Who will not look up or talk
Keeping to herself
Step by step in a lonely walk

You'd brush by her quickly
Don't even try to say hi
You think she's weird, she's strange
All she happens to be is a four eyes

You'd think her of no difference
She's just another person
What you would call "kinda" normal
But the truth you think just worsens

This girl draws on her tests
Writes in a notebook
Hums silently
Yet, up she never looks

If you saw her truly
With her favorite clothes and glasses off
You'd see her entirely different
Before, everyone would scoff

She'd smile, pout and joke around
Help you out when you don't have lunch money
Talk to you when you are down
And think all your jokes are funny

She'd seem like the perfect person
But that she could never be
For if she was that person
That person would not be me

The girl you see who never talks
Actually has a very nice voice
The girl who goes on lonely walks
Sticks with her shadow and her choice

Those songs you never hear her sing
Are in a range from rock to japanese
She has invisible wings
Hoping they alone could break her free

This girl has a lot of friends
Not to little, not too many
This girl is content the way she is
She's not ugly, she feels very pretty

When her friends need help
She'll be there on the spot
She'll try to be brave
When she gets a shot

This girl is important, she has a good heart
She's tried her best from the very start
When people brush her away, she just gets stronger
If she's hanging from a cliff, she'll hold on longer

That girl people think is so innocent
Is really a picture they build
They think that she'll give in
But they'll never move in for the kill
