Relentless To Have You Back

by Sarah Ann   May 21, 2006

The distance right now is greater
Mounting with every thought and day
Yet forever, I'm still brooding
About your beliefs and what you say

I climb through the brawny obstacles
Find my knees bloody and scraped
You've left me here with nothing.
My heart's constantly raped

The ocean's tide is high tonight
Gritty, I'm determined to surf through
I'd move along with everything
Inevitable, until time unites with you

No stopping right here is valid
I miss you, plainly as words can tell
Stumbling one day near you I knew
An angel from heaven fell

Alas, what happened to my angel;
The perpetual promises you made
You washed away with little proof
Likely thought my love would age

You were foolish, and more mistaken
Left when I was in desperate need
Come back to me, my lover; friend
Don't leave me here to bleed

Hmm..Sarah. ANOTHER tear-jerking poem. I'm not sure why but I feel that i can relate....I loved it. So strong yet simple enough to read.
