Blank Canvas

by Flying Phoenix   May 21, 2006

Blank canvas
It whispers for a touch
A single stroke
A hint of colour
But to break its perfection
Is that really what you want?

Bright white sheet
So delicate and bare
Laid out on the floor
But can you touch it?

Freshly cut grass
Evenly sliced down
Massacred daises
Strewn far across the ground
Don't disturb their positions
That is where they lay

Naive innocent heart
Inside that young fair man
Craving a touch
But don't do it
Don't break his perfect heart

Really really cool :) Loved it. The idea was really well expressed and the imagery was great:
    "Massacred daises
    Strewn far across the ground
    Don't disturb their positions
    That is where they lay"
    So, so good x
