If I Can't Have You...

I spent my life next to you
By your side in everything you do
But our love would not last
Suddenly your a memory from the past
Everything that you would say
Would break my heart and push me away
Now I'm breaking up inside
Now I have all the reasons to hide
You left me lonely and useless instead
People tell me it's all in my head
But why then do I cry myself to sleep at night
Why won't anyone or anything make it alright
Sometimes I just look to the sky
Watch all the birds that are flying by
I tried to kill myself one day
Just take all the pain away
If I can't have you I will die
My wounds will never heal unless your by my side.

    hey mara this was a great poem i loved it .... i write very similiar things as this, so i can totatly relate .... even though i say death brings us peace, but when i deeply think about it, its not really the only way out ..... there are many things good in life and there are many people out there that care, so why would u leave this world just for one person, and hurt many people ??? u know what i mean? awsome poem :)

    This poem has a lot of emotion in it. I loved it. I definalty know what you are going through, and it sucks let me tell ya! That pain seems to never go away no matter what you do, but hang in there, cuz it gets better days at a time.
