It's Too Late

by tabithaa   May 22, 2006

Fading away into the darkness of another lie,
Violently thrown around again, causing you to cry.

Love is lost and so are you, to the hands of fate,
You didn't realize what you had, now it's just too late.

No more sunlight for your body, only cold to freeze your skin,
I come to you with broken eyes, i'm knocking: let me in.

On closed eyes you can't breathe, as your losing touch,
The sirens blaring in your ears, reminds you its too much.

As snow falls all around you, your heart is turned to stone,
Your touch is worse than the coldest ice, and I feel so alone.

Blind eyes watch us slowly, as we disintegrate,
Our souls entwined together, but its still too late.

No more breath to grace your body, or love to grace your soul,
Your body is so still, I am no longer whole.

Your poison lips taste sour, your eyes bleed black,
Your begging to live again, For love to take you back.

Its too late for forgiveness, its too late for hope,
Its too late to hold you back, too late for you to cope.

As darkness consumes us, we do not retaliate,
We've finally come to realize, love was just too late.
