Corner Stone

by David Zurick   May 22, 2006

This is the line,
Where past and present collide.
Ten stones I've counted,
One to be found.

Dream- dream the dreams you've dreamt for me.

Sweat's leaking from your skin,
Your body can't handle your situation-
My stomach groans for the same purpose.

But here I am,
Meet me here as soon as you can.
This is where it all began.
Let your line intersect with mine,
Where the past and the present collides.
