I felt the petals fall upon my hair, the feeling's so sweet without compare. The troubles now are off my chest, the curse is gone that the rose possessed. The Mistress who came and turned me so, had gave me the curse to bestow. She turned me into this hideous beast, that only true love is to release. She said I had till my twenty first year, for my beautiful maiden to appear. But as time passed with each passing day, I knew my love was what I had to convey. Then one night as my dreams unfold, I heard a sound that I went to behold. I crept down the stairs to see the case, I was then head on to a human face. I was furious and angry to see a man, he said he had a daughter then I had a plan. I told him to bring her to take instead, "I'll go right away," that's what he said. Then the day came for her to appear, I reassured her there's nothing to fear. Should she be the one to break the spell, she was a beauty and her name was Belle. First I doubted she would ever see, the real man that was placed in me. I soon felt love when she was near, because she was pure and sincere. * I don't know when it happened, but it hurt me so, when her father was sick and she had to go. I let her leave for I learned to care, she mended my heart with much repair. But then my palace was soon attacked, but I was too hurt I to even react. But as my last breath came, my hope was gone, but then a miracle, Belle came along. "beast I love," she tried to say, I said "maybe it's better this way." she said "Don't talk like that, you'll be alright," her eyes were full of hurt and contrite. As my eyes closed I saw the petal fall, I was wrong, I'm not surviving after all. But as I soon drifted I wasn't released, when I opened my eyes I wasn't the beast. Belle was standing confused and afraid, but she looked in my eyes and the fright had fade. * She knew who I was when I was a beast, she knew who I was when I was me. * She made me laugh, made me tall, and made me love most of all. She broke the curse with so much ease, because she fell in love with a beast.
