Presence

by Courtney Joiner   Feb 16, 2004

All your feelings just came to a reality
wondering if it's true, you stand there crying, because you just found out that my life had been taken.
You turn and think that everything is gone, you have nothing left to feel, nothing left to love, nothing left to see, nothing left to think about.
You have so much.
Everything is silent, you hear nothing, its scary, there's nothing there, no movement, your still crying and still thinking you have nothing more to live for.
All the trust was gone before, a world so cold, holding on, looking through your eyes from above, everything drifts away.
For way to long you thought I was the only thing in your life that gave love an actual meaning, a world so cold.
Thinking back reminds me of the days that I thought I lost you, but now I'm the one that has been lost, you miss me, but i can't come back in your presence.
In a world so cold, I'm gone forever.
I watch over you as you take yours, cutting deep within not only your heart, but mine.
There's no more presence in a world what used to be......you and me.
