A common misconception of yesterday
Is the thought that it is only a memory,
A faint whisper of darkness that will soon be forgotten.

Nobody forgets their past that easily,
For even though some have more disasters than others,
Pain is pain, and love is love (and more pain)
...Whatever the journey, we always take something along with us.

The path that I once had laid infront of me,
Will help create the path I still have left to take.
The life that I have lead will prepare me for more,
More yesterdays, tomorrows, and the biggest adventure...
