Angel

by Nick   May 22, 2006

My lovely, darkest angel
Your tears of angst burn holes in my flesh
With the fluorescence of salvation

This forbidden creation, which feeds of the lust for eternity,
Withers and fades like a crimson leaf
In the rebirth of spring

My lovely, darkest angel,
Look no further for what betrays you most is in nocturnal times
And exists only under an ultraviolet sensation.

Go along, bandaging my wounds
With thorns and sticks and nails
I am a fallen orchard, exreting my ruby soul for your own eternity.

It's about my first boyfriend...after he broke up with me I was confused about his reasoning for doing so. I thought his feelings were all jumbled up and his "dreams" he was having were fooling him-- hence the "for what betrays you most is in nocturnal times".
