No escape.

Stuck can't get past this wall,
turn ninety how this life is.
I stare at my yellow- green coat,
memories of a life of hit and miss.

Wondered home, straight clothed into a life of doom,
smack, my dreams shattered.
A proper fist of what was to be,
Minute by minute, try to miss a beat was what mattered.

Early morning icy dew on the grass
a walk to set the world alight.
Try to shrug this coat of my shoulders,
no energy it won't go without a fight.

The pavement glittered, alas,
escape a goat of a memory of a life.
He walks, move forward with enlightened fists,
Remove the sleeves of doom, zip of strife.

How long can he hold it down,
If i stay sat down, bound down.
It hangs around letting me know it's still there, sniff.
You lift your arms high,
I put my arms through it's sleeves, after the leave.
It still fits like a crown.
