Last time and it was for her

by Sage x3   May 22, 2006

*he tells himself that it is only one more time*
*he thinks it won't matter much to him or anyone*
*but it makes him loose his mind*
*that syringe he loves matters to everyone*
*if only she was a good enough reason for him to quit*
*but all she can do is watch and sit*
*while he kills himself without actually pulling the trigger*
*he'll be perfectly fine soon, or so they figure*
*but the girl that loves him disagrees*
*and she begs on her scratched knees*
*again tonight*
*that maybe she could be a reason enough to fight*
*and God finally answered her prayers*
*he saw her so desperate*
*and all the layers*
*of her makeup spilt tears*
*and he stopped the addiction that has lasted for years*
*all for the girl that finally began to matter*
