My Plea

How long must I wait for this?
I think I've waited long enough
And I'm ready to admit it\'s true
It's getting pretty tough

I can no longer find that feeling
I only feel love when it's in my dreams
laying in my bed, staring at the ceiling
drowning in my silent screams

I don't want anything perfect
Just someone to always be there
to love and protect
nobody special or rare

I just want the perfect man
please hear my begging plea
it's all part of God's master plan
I just want someone who loves me
