Impossibly Perfect

How can you just up and forget about me?
When all I can try to be
Is just me?
I know you\'ll always be disappointed somehow.
But all of this is too much for me to allow
You\'ll never steal her away from me
I think the alcohol blinds you, can you not see?
You both mean the world to me
So what if I\'m too much like my mom
The apple never falls far from the tree

You can hate me, never talk to me again
Just remember at one time, we used to be friends
And I\'ll never forget the times we\'ve been through
All of the hard times when I always ran to you

You\'ve always been a little too busy
With a man a million miles away
But still with all your problems,
I always have the time of day

Everyone has their problems and their flaws
I think it\'s time for you to take a pause

Dust off the mirror in the back of your mind
You may love somebody
But it should never make you blind
If I was you I would say that I am sorry for what I do,
And always remember, nobody is ever perfect like you!
