Firestorm [Amber Ashes & Ember Dreams] (Part III)

by Aesthyrian   May 23, 2006

"And" I said "She was as if a firestorm."
"Setting ablaze the hearts of men."
"Her voice, but a whisper
Laughter in the silence."

Ascend with me, in this time, you are mine
See the silhuouttes of two lovers bore
Drifting back in time to a distant shore
captured and released by Father Time

And I was mesmorized
Staring into an angel's eyes
Her hands stained with blood
Invoking the fear within me

I have faltered
My heart led astray
The damages are incomprehensible
Yet, you choose to stay

Years of growth torn asunder, by one single glance
The music fades, Trees wither and shed
the tearful leaves scatter the ground... star doesn't dance

Crystalline tears and shivering touch
Your eyes ascend the gloom
Your love undying
The flowers bloom

Unseen as worthy by many alike
I can only prove myself to thee
They are merely bystanders in this war
They know not the pain and accept, once more

I say this to you, and hope you see
I am truly sorry for what I've done
You are a world in it's own
The moon, the stars, and the sun

"And" She said "He was as if an ember"
"Burning away at the last moments of life."
"His voice, but a whisper
Crying in the silence."
