The reality

by Too*In*Love   May 23, 2006

Your shattering lies and your fake emotions
Fooled me, I feel so ashamed to have thought I loved!
When I hadn't even seen the real you, under that distasteful veneer
That you use to poison and trap for your own safety.
Who's mind is your next victim?
Are you going to use a storm of lies?
Or a fairytale of deceitful emotions?
Breaking my mind into slits of tricked trust.

Go away I wish to have never let you snatch my faith.
I've been given a second chance to tear open that surface
And see you for the demons words that you signify.
But they are words, you mean nothing, you are nothing
To me.
You may have fooled another target but I have been captured
By a proper living, that healed and guided me away
From your path of destructions and tornado of preconceptions.
I was hit by it, but I have risen and I realize that I have what you need:
The reality.
