Why I Love You

Every day we get closer and closer,
Becoming a little more touch and feel.
As I lie resting in your arms,
I've never felt any better.
I drift into a world surrounded by love,
And it feels as if it's just you and me,
When really,
We're surrounded by many more.
I love it when you smile,
It makes me feel as if I've accomplished my daily goal.
With hands embraced,
Nothing can touch me,
Because you're my love and protector.
Life can be hard at times,
But nothing ever changes how we feel.
Our lips soon to embrace,
For the very first time,
I can only imagine how it'll feel.
I'm sure it'll be magnificent though,
Just as the rest of you.
Since we've been together,
I feel as if nothing can come between us.
You say I make you the happiest you've ever been,
And that without me,
You'd have probably been dead.
I'm glad I make you full,
And to know you care just as much as do.
