StaleMate

We shiver as the winter chill freezes us.
Trapped in eternal darkness.

I'm frozen, unable to move,
Caught in a stare.

My mind has stopped
And there you are.

Your eyes are tired,
Fighting to stay open.

Your face the lightest blue,
Lips the deepest too.

Uncertain if your still alive,
I know i'm not.

my one true love and i, after we split, made it a mission to kinda hold out the longest, see who can give off the impression that they are not fazed by it, see who was strongest, so to say. anyways it got to the point where neither was, a kinda stalemate.
