We Shall Meet Again

by Sh**tingst*r   May 24, 2006

My whole world has been blackened. My very dear friend is leaving me. Today is your last day here. The last time you shall walk down those stairs. The last time you shall see the neighborhood. The last time our group of friends shall be together.

You can't leave me friend. Without you, my days shall be dreary and depressing.

My life as we know it shall come to an end. But we both know that life is not fair. So I'm not saying goodbye, just simply saying, I shall meet you again. Maybe not in this lifetime again. But someday. And as we greet each other again, we both shall recall the moments of pure joy in our past lives.

I shall miss you dear friend.

I'm saying that this might be the last time she see's me in this lifetime. That's why. But I'll change it anyway. Thanks for the comment!!

I think you are contradicting yourself in the poem. First you write, "The last time you shall see me," and then, "I shall meet you again." It makes the poem seem insincere. I mean no offense!
