The tears I cry
Are real
My feelings for you
Are real
How you left
Was real

It wasn't meant to end up this way
It was supposed to stay the same
But it never did
My heart had never been so hurt
Then that night
We had a fight
That should have never happened
You told me you loved me
But I didn't believe you
The things I heard from a friend seemed real
But all it was, was the worst mistake
And someone's cruel joke of revenge
But by the time I realized that
You were gone
I ran to look for you
I looked everywhere
Then I went to the park where
We'd always meet
And all that was there
Was a single letter
That had five words wrote on it
And what it said was
"I will love you forever"
Since then I've never seen him again
Never heard of him again
But I know that he'll never leave my heart
